Probably French antique wooden sewing basket with folding stand. Original provenance including fabric basket, 2 layers: black outside with floral aster pattern inside. A thorough search did not reveal another exactly like it or in such used good antique condition. Possibly sourced in France but no definite proof available. Very early 20th century most likely. Materials: wood, fabric Size roughly: STAND open 26” high x 11” wide. Stand when folded is 3.5”wide. BASKET/BAG 12” x 12” x 12.” Condition: in antique condition with signs of previous use, some wear to wood work in places, bag is in good antique condition with original fabric, stands sturdy and stable.
